Room 65

Using Carrubbers Christian Centre, which has been a place of worship on the Royal Mile for over a hundred years, local musicians and singers perform a collection of Gospel, Soul and contemporary Christian songs each evening.

Room 65 runs from Monday 4th August until Friday 22nd August 2008. The doors open at 8pm and the evening goes on until 11pm.

Room 65 is a live music cafe where you can come and relax and learn about the love of Jesus Christ in a friendly atmosphere. Local musicians will provide live music for the first and last weeks of the café. For the middle week, live music will be provided by musicians from the US, where their last night (Saturday 16th) will take the form of a concert: note for this night only the concert will begin at 7:30pm (doors at 7:00pm).

As well as coffee and music, Carrubbers Christian Centre offers much more. For those interested in learning what Christians believe, Christianity Explored is held over 9 weeks when questions about God, life and the Universe are asked and answered.

For new Christians, Just For Starters is a series of 9 basic studies in the Christian life. The next course starts soon.

You are welcome to services of worship held every Sunday in Carrubbers at 11:00am and 6:30pm. If you have questions or comments about the Christian faith or anything you hear at Room 65, you can email David Anderson.

Listen to the Room 65 talks online here.

If you would like to assist with the running of Room 65 this year, then we have a seperate page devoted to getting involved.
