If you are a STUDENT or YOUNG WORKER (ages 17-30), we would love for you to be involved with Index every Sunday evening from 8:15pm in the Oak Hall!
What is INDEX about? The word "index" simply refers to a guide or pointer to facilitate reference towards a goal. That goal is a Biblical one: "physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come" (1 Timothy 4:8). We want to guide, point and equip you for the physical life in this world; but more importantly to encourage your spiritual growth in Godliness so you grow up mature in and ever closer to the Lord Jesus Christ in our eternal union to Him!
What do we do at INDEX? We have supper together every week in fellowship; we sing God's praises and pray; we meet to study and discuss the Bible around tables.
How do you get involved in INDEX?
...You're called to be a Saint, not a Stranger :)
Our main meeting takes place Sunday evenings at 8:30pm. Head upstairs after the evening service and you'll find us. There will be singing, Bible teaching, group discussion, and some time of fellowship around food and tea/coffee. We'll be finished up by 10:00pm, but you are welcome to stay on. We also have a weekly prayer group at 10:00am before the morning service at Carrubbers. This time is focused on unbelieving family members or friends and student missions.
Index also provides an opportunity to be involved in a small group or a one-to-one discipleship group.
If you would like more information or have any questions you can contact us at index@carrubbers.org.
Index is organised by David Nixon and overseen by Pastoral Elders.
