Carrubbers Christian Centre

"India is very hot at this time of year and very sticky with its high humidity. So hot that many of us from the cool comfort of the West would struggle to stand in it for too long. That was my experience! However, this heat does not deter the wonderful people of the Metropolitan Mission from going out daily to preach the Good News of the Kingdom to all manner of people in all anner of circumstances. As Ebenezer said to me, "It is much hotter in Hell!" This certainly spurned me on to tour the Chruches and people, and witness things that would change my life forever.

I was overcome to tears because I had to ask myself what could I say to them that would mean anything and not sound patronising and ridiculous! For this people the hunger is for hope too! And Praise God - He has provided that hope in Jesus.

Evangelists support:
Amount spent: £1500
There are at least 25 evangelists who are working in the remotest part of Andhra Pradesh. They all not regularly sponsored. Hence, part of your money was used to pay their monthly allowances. We are all pleased at the wonderful provision.

Evangelists Children Education Fund:
Amount spent: £1000
There are at least 88 of Pastors and evangelists children. They are in their studies from 1st Class to the College level. They were all helped quite a bit till this month. We are all grateful for the wonderful provision.

Social Fund:

Several workers were very sick in this quarter and we were able to help several people Mrs.Mariyamma David is from Munagapadu. Her husband died last year. She is one of our Bible Ladies. She had Cancer diagnosed and she was already operated. We have helped her.

A.Elisha is an evangelist in Tempalli village. He and his wife are working in that Tribal village. His wife had to undergo, a major surgery. We have helped her from this fund. Joshua and his wife are working in a tribal colony. His wife Santhosam had to under go major surgery. We were able to help them from this fund. I can name Tens and even hundreds who would benefit from this fund. We are grateful to God for this wonderful provision. Thanks.

Children Home:

These are various departmental needs for children Home; and your generous donation has gone towards the same.

Toilets & Gate:
Amount spent: £2000
There was a big need of Toilets in the children Home and very timely that need was met. Also, we were able to clear off the trees and bushes; and we were able to erect a nice gate. The campus is not only protective but also, attractive. Keep praying..
