about Carrubbers and you're not quite sure where to start, this gives
a small introduction to the who, what, where and why of Carrubbers
Christian Centre.

Carrubbers was founded in 1858 as Carrubbers Close Mission. A lot has
happened since then, and more recently that has included a huge

During the summer, the International Festival attracts hundreds of
thousands of people to Edinburgh. Carrubbers, situated on the Royal
Mile has a cafe that offers free tea and coffee and live music during
the festival - it's called Room65 and allows us to invite people
into the church and tell them about Jesus.

Carrubbers has always been about people, not property. Historically,
Carrubbers was founded as an outreach to the children of the city, and
continues a programme of outreach to this day. Evangelical, evangelistic,
bible-teaching, we seek to train, reach and win people to our Lord Jesus.
