Creation to New Creation - The Story of God's Glory...

Preaching from the Word will feature each Sunday evening as we continue our series through the entire Bible from 'The Pattern' in Genesis 1 and 2 all the way through to 'Perfected' in Revelation 21 and 22.

The series is divided into 8 mini series...

1. Patterned: Genesis 1-2
   The Story of God's Glory in the pattern of the created order.
2. Polluted: Genesis 3 – Noah
   The Story of the fall of mankind and God's judgment.
3. Promised: Abraham – Moses
   God calls Abram and Joseph finds himself in Egypt. The Story of God's faithfulness to carry out his plans and fulfil his promises.
4. Pictured: Israel's History.
   The Story of the history of Israel from their time down in Egypt until their time in the promised land – living under Judges and Kings.
5. Prophesied: The Story of God’s Glory throughout the history of the prophets – all the way through to John the Baptist.
6. Personified: Gospels. The Story of God's Glory in the person and work of Jesus the Christ. 
7. Proclaimed: Acts, Epistles and Revelation 1-20
8. Perfected: Revelation 21 and 22

In January, we will complete the mini-series 'Pictured' and in February, we begin 'Prophesied', moving on to the 'Personified' mini series which will continue beyond April.

Each evening will feature an additional focus: an extended time of praise, a time of Communion, prayer for our missionaries around the world and our local work around our corner; or our quarterly Question and Answer session which will appear in January and April.  The Guest Event each month will be an opportunity to bring friends. 

We would very much like the congregation to view this as an opportunity to get a good overview of the Bible, a clearer understanding of the gospel, and a new appreciation and awareness of the greatness and glory of God.
