Church Planting

Our church planting commitment and vision has been growing over the past eight years as we have sought, with God’s help, to multiply congregations in other areas of our city and beyond.

Raising and establishing a totally new Church in Wallyford has been the beginning of the outworking of this vision in recent years. We are overjoyed to see the progress and development of this church plant.

In the very near future, as the Wallyford Living Room becomes self-sufficient and self-supporting, with God’s help, we want to continue the development of our church planting vision.

Our involvement with other churches in the East of Scotland Gospel Partnership has continued to fuel our desire to see more people in Edinburgh reached with the life changing message of the Gospel through the planting of new churches.

To enable us to keep passing on the church planting baton, we would encourage you to stand with us in this vision by making an investment for the lost in this city. We have for a number of years been particularly interested in the South side of our city out towards Buckstone.

We would like to raise a part-time salary, enabling us to take further steps in this direction with the appointment of a pastoral assistant, with an emphasise on church planting, beginning in September 2014.

In order to do this we would like to challenge you to consider making an on-going investment in church planning for future years.
