  1. Read Lev 11:44-45. 
    1. What is holiness and what does it mean to be holy?
    2. How would you say the holiness of God impacts your life?
  2. Using the definitions below, try to describe, biblically, what is happening at each phase and how the work of Jesus Christ impacts each one. 
    • Justification... set apart from the penalty of sin (positional holiness)
    • Sanctification... set apart from the power of sin (progressive holiness)
    • Glorification... set apart from the presence of sin (ultimate holiness!)
  3. Read Heb 12:1-11.
    1. What is the main point of this passage?
    2. How are we to view God’s disciplinary dealings in our lives?
    3. What are the challenges we face when faced with God’s discipline in our lives?
    4. How can we apply this passage to victory!!
