What we do...
Carrubbers offers opportunities for people to become involved in many
different areas, each refered to as a "ministry". You don't have to attend Carrubbers to
get involved! - but you do have to be a committed Christian who is a member in
good standing at some evangelical church.
As a first port of call we have a number of social ministries mostly designed
around a common interest, which will help you get settled with us.
We then have outreach ministries aimed at all ages and many sectors of our society.
Extended ministries that operate beyond Edinburgh, out into the wider world,
some of which you can help with even right here in the city.
Perhaps the largest collection of ministries are those that train and equip people
for ministry. With many students we have a high turnover of people, and we encourage
people to get "plugged in" early in their student life.
In any organisation, you need volunteers to help keep things running smoothly,
and to this end, there are also several active support ministries.
