Romania

Carrubbers has had the joy of working closely together with the Golgota Bible School and Mission in Talmaciu, Romania, since the mid-1990's. We have shared ministry in regularly sending out teams to help and teach in the many summer Bible camps that take place through the Mission as well as regulary sending out teachers to lecture in the Bible school which exists to train and equip men and women for preaching the gospel in the many towns and villages of Romania. The Golgota Bible School has been training young men and women for gospel ministry for many years and has seen dozens of churches established in the rural areas of Romania.

The Mission in Romania has trained hundreds of young Romanians and equipped them to share their faith with others. These kids often come from rural villages and have little or no money and many cannot even afford the trip to and from the mission.

It is these men and women who are returning and evangelizing their villages, planting churches and raising up leaders to attend the training and reach out to further villages. To date over 25 churches have been planted throughout Romania.

Although not a ministry of Carrubbers, we have supported the work for several years; in prayer, with short term missionaries and financially.

There is always the opportunity to get involved. This can be by praying for the mission, giving money, or by volunteering for some short term work during a summer break.
More background information about the mission can be found in the missions area.
