Moving Out - Times and Places

By the end of September 2025, the Carrubbers church family will have moved out of 65 High Street to allow the Project 140 renovation to begin.  For the next year we will be continuing to meet and minister in a variety of locations.

SUNDAYS

Sunday Mornings at 10:30am: starting Sunday September 21st we will be gathering at the Faith Mission Centre on the south-side of town (548 Gilmerton Road).  It is on bus routes: 3, 7, 18, 29 and X40 (Stop at Gilmerton Crossroads).

During the course of the morning service, our children and young people will be dismissed to Creche (in the Centre), Preschool, Carrubbers4Kids, Bible Class and Switch (next door at the Faith Mission Bible College).

This service will be live-streamed on YouTube.

 Sunday Evenings at 6:30pm: starting Sunday September 21st we will be gathering  at the German Speaking Congregation near the centre of town (1 Chalmers Crescent).

After the evening service, at 7:45pm our students and young workers will stay on for fellowship and Bible study at Logos.

This service will not be livestreamed.

MIDWEEK

Home Groups will continue meeting fortnightly of the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in homes around the city.  These are smaller group settings to grow, be known, belong, be cared and prayed for in the midst of the larger church family.  More details

Women Of The Word will be meeting during the first week of the month in homes around the city.  More details

Men For Christ will be meeting for breakfast or an outdoor walk on the first Saturdays of the month.  More details

Prayer Meetings will be taking place online on the third Tuesdays of the month at 7:30pm.

CHILDREN & YOUTH

One Way Club for primary school aged children will be meeting fortnightly on Friday nights at Ferniehill Evangelical Church, starting on Friday September 5th at 645pm.  More details

Exodus for secondary aged young people will be meeting fortnightly on Saturday nights at Ferniehill Evangelical Church, starting on Saturday September 19th at 7pm.  More Details

STUDENTS

 Logos for students and young workers will be meeting at 7:45pm on Sundays in the German Speaking Congregation, starting Sunday September 21st. More details

OUTREACH AND DISCIPLESHIP

The Cantonese Fellowship is exploring options to continue meeting fortnightly.

Discovery Bible Study will be meeting at Ferniehill Evangelical Church on Thursdays at 11:30am, starting Thursday September 25th.

Free English Classes will be meeting on Tuesday afternoons at St Columba's Free Church, starting Tuesday September 23rd  More details

The Board Games Club will be meeting once a month on a Friday evening in homes around the city.

CHURCH OFFICE

The Pastoral and Administrative staff will be relocating to the Free Church of Scotland offices at 15 North Bank Street on the Mound from Wednesday September 17th.  Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.  More details
